Maynard Trophy results 2026

The Maynard Trophy was presented to Dun Laoghaire Bowling Club in 1987 by Derek and Helen Maynard (now Irwin) in memory of their parents, Eric and Marcia. Every year we run a competition for this Trophy on June Bank Holiday Monday.

This year, as always, it was well supported and, on a nice dry day, much fun was had by all the teams. Many thanks to our Competition Secretaries, Vivienne Beattie and Mick Moore, for running it. Also a big thank you to everyone who helped provide the tea and tasty bites afterwards.

The winners were: Ian Flood, Joan Burns, Tom Dillon and Eileen Salley

The runners-up (after a play-off against Mick Moore’s team) were: Rita Saunders, Colm Brennan and Carmel Groarke.
