The Mary Byrne Trophy competition was held on Monday, 17th August. This competition is for ladies only, the trophy having been presented in memory of our first lady president, Mary Byrne.

This year, our Open Day was on Sunday, 9th August. We were very lucky that it was during our warm dry spell of weather. Our advertising on social media and posters in local shops etc. were very successful.

The ILB semi-finals and finals were played from Monday, 27th July, to Saturday, 1st August, in Blackrock.

Dun Laoghaire Bowling Club got to three ILB Championship semi-finals this year. Not quite as good as last year but it was still an excellent achievement with the ever-increasing standard of bowling.

The Maynard Trophy was presented to Dun Laoghaire Bowling Club in 1987 by Derek and Helen Maynard (now Irwin) in memory of their parents, Eric and Marcia. Every year we run a competition for this Trophy on June Bank Holiday Monday.
